I was contacted by Co-operative Foods who were running a "Co-operative Bake-Off" to coincide with the Great British Bake Off final shown on BBC1 at the beginning of October. The event was to raise funds for the Community Youth Fund, part of a local charity Forever Manchester that supports disadvantaged young people throughout the city. The event had many entrants from across the Co-Op organisation and I was asked whether I would be willing to contribute a prize.
A "Chocolate Badge!" who would have thought it.....yet it's been a pleasure meeting the groups of Brownies and Guides from the Stockport area, some of whom are striving for this badge.

The Workshops & Hen Parties are expanding along the M62 into Leeds as of January 2015.
Leeds, being one of the great Cities in the North, offers a diverse range of attractions including ballet, opera, markets, concerts, fabulous shopping and all in such a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Yes! Chocolate is being studied in many schools as it covers different subject matters including history, geography and science. It can be incorporated into business studies and product design too. I've been invited into schools into Manchester, Stockport and Cheshire to be involved in their chocolate making experience following their recent studies of the subject.
Earlier this year I was delighted to be approached to support the Macmillan Big Night In Campaign. This is a special event held throughout the country by people who wanted to raise money on behalf of the important charity Macmillan Nurses.
