Chocolate Collective terms and conditions
These are our terms and conditions which apply to all transactions and should you choose to join us at any of our workshops or events.

Seller, Us, Our, We - Chocolate Collective Ltd.
Buyer, You, Your - the person who is booking the product/services from us even when booking on someone else's behalf.
Course - any Chocolate Workshop (Deluxe, Express).
All children 16 years and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult unless prior agreement has been made with Chocolate Collective.
A booking is confirmed and a contract formed when the seller receives a completed, signed booking form from the buyer, along with a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit. The booking form must be filled in correctly and supplied to us within a reasonable time before the event date. The seller will not take responsibility for any delay in reaching any venue due to road works, traffic chaos or any other highway hazard. Any variations on the terms and conditions can only be permitted if expressed in writing by the seller.
PAYMENT & PRICES
All workshops are due to be fully paid prior to the course. For all group bookings, no refunds will be considered once the full balance payment has been received. Our prices may vary from time to time and we reserve the right to alter the prices when necessary. However, if a booking has been made and a deposit paid, the price at the time of booking will be upheld.
For Hen Party bookings a 50% non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking. The balance is due one month before the event.
All vouchers are non-refundable. Each gift voucher is valid for a maximum of 6 months unless otherwise stated. A voucher will be deemed to be invalid if it is out of date (the validity date is clearly stated on the gift voucher). If the customer or recipient is unable to utilise the voucher before the expiry date, then upon the customer contacting Chocolate Collective Ltd prior to the expiry date on the voucher the company shall issue a voucher extension. Vouchers can only be extended if they are still inside their expiry date.
CHANGE OF DATE
In the event that you are unable to attend your chosen date, provided you give notice we will do our best to find another suitable date.
We reserve the right to cancel any course, in this occurrence we will contact you to offer an alternative date or time. Should a suitable alternative not be found we will offer a full refund, for tickets purchased directly from us. In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled Chocolate Collective Ltd cannot be held responsible for any cost incurred in respect of any travel or accommodation.
All equipment necessary to carry out the chocolate course will be provided by us as well as protective clothing and hand wash facilities.
We will provide suitable venues for all our public courses to be held. These premises will be made clear to you at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. There will be toilets available and the premises will comply to all Health and safety requirements as well as current fire regulations. We reserve the right to change the venue and will give as much notice as possible. We cannot be held responsible for any cost incurred in respect of any travel or accommodation in the event of a change of venue. In the unlikely event of a change of venue within 28 days of the date of the course, if you are unable to attend we will offer you an alternative date.
Casual clothes and shoes, such as jeans and trainers, are recommended. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the venue or workshop should the dress code not be adhered to. No refund will be given in any circumstance.
You agree to be responsible for informing everyone in your group as to the location and time of the course. You agree to arrive on time, be dressed appropriately and to enter into the spirit of the class. You should not have consumed excessive alcohol prior to the class.
It is possible that the ingredients used on the courses may contain traces of nuts. If you or any of your group has a nut or other allergy which is brought, it is your responsibility to ensure that person/s is aware of this statement. We will not be liable for any person's reaction to nuts or other allergies whilst attending our courses.
We provide Public Liability Insurance for up to £2million for all events that we do, both in our own venues and in your own venue. A copy of this insurance is available to you upon request.
The Contract is between the Seller and the Hirer as principals and may not be assigned by the Hirer without the express written consent of the Seller. These Conditions form the whole agreement between the Seller and the Hirer and shall not be removed or varied in any way.
The Seller is in default of any of its obligations hereunder, it shall not be liable where such default is due to any act of God, war, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, tempest or other event beyond the reasonable control of the Seller. In such circumstances, the Seller shall give notice to the Hirer where possible, and be released from performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent the event of supervening impossibility prevents or restricts the Seller's performance. These Conditions are subject to English Law and the Hirer consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all matters regarding the Services. It is not the intention of the parties to confer any rights contained in The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 on any third parties referred to herein, and any such rights, which may otherwise be implied, are hereby excluded.
